Letting the Body Set the Pace

A gentle meditation for trusting timing, easing urgency, and moving at the speed of safety

This meditation is an invitation to slow down without forcing relaxation.
It includes gentle “micro-yes” moments and a soft inner check-in — supporting you to listen to your body’s timing rather than push past it.

Why pace matters

For many people, urgency is not a personality trait — it’s a learned survival rhythm.
The body may need time to trust slowing down.

This meditation offers a different kind of practice:
not doing more — but learning to stop at “enough,” and letting safety set the speed.

How to use this meditation

  • Listen when you feel rushed, pressured, or “behind”

  • You can keep your eyes open and stay oriented to the room

  • Small shifts are enough — you don’t need deep calm

  • You can pause or stop anytime

  • “Not yet” is allowed — timing is wisdom

  • This practice works through repetition, not intensity
